Why book through an advisor instead of a search bar

Preferred partner rates at thousands of hotels worldwide mean the room doesn't cost more — you just get more out of it.

01

Room upgrades, when available

Preferred partner rates at 4,500+ hotels can mean a complimentary room upgrade.

02

Breakfast included

Daily breakfast for two, added at no extra cost at partner properties.

03

Early in, late out

Early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability — arranged before you arrive.

04

Someone to call

If your hotel booking hits a snag or plans shift last-minute, you're not on hold with a call centre.

05

Zero markup

The rate you'd pay booking direct — with a better room and someone on call, at no extra cost. Your train or flight ticket is booked separately, by you.

06

Local knowledge

Restaurant bookings, quiet-hour museum timing, and the neighbourhood worth an extra hour in.

07

Airport transfer sorted

A driver waiting at arrivals, straight to the hotel door — arranged for you, so landing somewhere new doesn't start with a taxi queue.

How a weekend gets planned

Four steps, usually inside a week.

01

Tell me the shape of the trip

Dates, who's coming, and what "a good weekend" means to you — quick call or a form, your call.

02

Get a proposed itinerary

Hotel options, a rough daily plan, and a suggested train or flight time to aim for — back to you within 48 hours. You book your own ticket direct with the train operator or airline.

03

Everything else gets booked

Hotel, airport transfer, and any reservations that need a head start — confirmed and sent to you as one itinerary. (Eurostar and flight tickets you book yourself — happy to point you to the right fare.)

04

You go, I stay on call

If anything shifts while you're away, I'm reachable — not a helpline in another time zone.

St Pancras International, Eurostar departure point
About your advisor

Nine years at the departure gate, before becoming the one planning the trip.

I'm Victor, and before Shari Travel Co, I spent nine years as a rail travel advisor at St Pancras — the station Eurostar leaves from for Paris, Amsterdam, and Brussels. I've watched thousands of people head off on exactly that trip, and picked up a fairly precise sense of what makes the good ones good: the right departure time, a hotel that's actually in the right neighbourhood, and nothing left to sort out once you've landed. That same approach now covers destinations by air as well as by rail.

Shari Travel Co is that knowledge turned into something you can hand a weekend to. As an independent travel advisor, I have access to preferred rates at thousands of hotels worldwide — without it costing you any more than booking direct. The trips on this site are what I plan most often, but hotels and experiences can be arranged anywhere in the world — if you don't see your destination listed, get in touch anyway.

The service was impeccable, and the concierge was wonderful. Our advisor arranged a complimentary room upgrade, and between the hotel and the trip planning, my birthday felt genuinely special — they even left a bunch of flowers waiting in our room.

Booking and rate-management for local authorities, NHS trusts and national frameworks — alongside our consumer travel advisory.

Same-day and out-of-hours room sourcing for overflow, referral-based and crisis placements, priced against an agreed rate structure.

02

Patient & staff travel accommodation

Hotel stays for patients attending treatment away from home, and staff or officer travel accommodation, booked to policy.

03

Framework & call-off supply

Rate-card and tiered-supplier participation on multi-supplier accommodation frameworks, with straightforward booking compliance.

Built around what procurement teams actually ask for

A

Agreed pricing structure

Rates set and confirmed before booking, not negotiated stay-by-stay.

B

Booking compliance

Clear timeframes for accommodating referrals, and a defined process when a room isn't taken up in good time.

C

Minimum room standards

Sourced against whatever content and condition standard the requirement sets — not just the cheapest available bed.

D

Honest scope

A rate-access and room-supply partner. Where a requirement needs on-site safeguarding or specialist support delivery, we say so plainly rather than overreaching.
